As title indicates this is for the discussion of music. What kind of music? You may ask. ANY!!! What kind of discussion? Whatever you like reviews, gossip, tour info... you name it you can post it.... music related of course.

for example:

I just got the new MGMT album and I can't stop listening to it! It has a very moody blues feel

Favorite songs so far are
someones missing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EEV5nADIqx8
and I found a Whistle http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQFnCeoynT0&feature=related

My latest find is Tripod, an Australian musical comedy act, specialising in improv, parody and satire. I find their songs extremely funny and I think they're all excellent musicians too, it's the perfect combination! It's a shame they aren't more popular (outside Australia), which makes it really hard to find any of their stuff, especially here in Finland.

Here are some of my favorite songs
Gonna Make You Happy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wSqFqhUzutg
Ugly Men (With Beautiful Women): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HxZ2ibDWipw&feature=related
Oasnis Yea (Oasis Medley): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t2wJDnyd-ow&feature=related
The Wheel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dtaCtAtHItw

Now, if anyone here happens to have Tripod or The Sideshow, PM me. Razz

You can bypass with an American IP. Actually, you probably shouldn't. Those proxy workaround methods are risky.

I can view this stuff from the office since I've got an American network in my configuration file. Maybe a similar provider would help.

Dammit Nicd, now you got me on them...
You are right though, man their stuff is really hard to find :\

I really wish I could find some non-live music, live music bugs me (audience noises and commentary interrupting the actual song and whatnot)

Not to mention that the sound quality is so much lower.

You can buy some albums on iTunes, but I wouldn't start with the studio albums since Tripod are essentially a live band and that's when they're at their best. If you want to hear them without the audience, try searching for Middleborough Rd. And the audio quality isn't an issue with Tripod so much, since they mostly just play acoustic guitars and sing in their live sets (and IMO the quality is pretty good anyways).
