OKAY! so the past three months i've taken on some serious craftiness. I've started sewing, crocet, and leather working. I've pretty much mastered the basics of cloak making as of now. I know how to do gromits/eyelits, etc etc. At the renfaire today they sold a 30 lb roll of leather for $30.. many different colors..aka options @_@ i'mma make shoes!

.. And i've started getting back into my steamy-punky stuff.. If you guys didn't know, i love steam punk fashion.. so uhh.. yeah. i made my 1st pair of goggles <_<.. i need to make them better though.. AND I WILL @___@ One of my rennie faire buddy said he'd teach me some leather working if i'd help him make a line of steampunk type art and so forth ^_^

My camera is missing in action, so i'll show you guys pictures later.

Eh, Steampunk fashion is pretty much neo-victorian done with a semi-modern twist. A neat style because nearly anything goes within that theme, it's the most open ended style I can think of.

You've recently found out that you have got a case of rapidly growing ovarian cancer, and you're thinking about a camera and steampunk fashion?  XP

Steampunk baby = yes.

Baby = parasite = no.

The baby is a part of your baby until you squeeze the little leech out. THEN it becomes a parasite.  XP

Omgz. I'm wading into the depths of steam fashion as well Happy happy joy joy I love it. We should definitely collaborate!

I'm trying to pin down the basics of using my sewing machine now. Its like driving a car, and I'm just trying to get a good, steady speed going to where my top stitches don't have too much tension, and so my bobbin stitches aren't too loose. Its a winning battle though.

I started studying Victorian fashion, and found most things big and clumsy, as if the whole idea was, "Ok folks! Wrap her in a big black dress and call it good!" I'm glad Steam takes it and puts a sexy sci-fi twist on it while maintaining the elegant, well-crafted look of the Victorian era. I have a whole slew of websites, sewing patterns, and flicker pages bookmarked for inspiration! ^___^
