^__^..i'm pretty proud of what i've done thus far as a groomer. you should of seen the Bichon..you could hardly see sissor marks @_@..amazering..

Not sarcastic. I hear it happens a lot. Owner brings in neglected poodle with filthy mats and then is suprised and angry that you have to shave them down. When told you need to regularly brush their dog, they are blown out of their minds. And then they get mad at you for charging them so much.

FINALLY! SOMEONE UNDERSTANDS ;_____;

So SO many retarded people own excessive groom dogs. Aka Bicon's, Shih Tzus, Maltese, and poodles.. and dont' keep ANY upkeep on their animal. It was so sad, we had this Shih Tzu in wednesday night.. oh my god.. the ammount of matting on it was HORRIFIC. it's eyes were matted shut.. its poor butt had so many mats there was piss and shit stuck in it.. it was NAKED.. beyond naked after wards.. The guy grooming it actually had to use a #40 on some parts it was so tight. Take note, a #10 is fucking short, to the skin. The #40 is what they use on dogs to shave spots to put in i-v's for surgury..

It just upsets me how many shave downs i get.. and like you said, the owner doesn't want to pay for it. its like fine..give me your animal, and i'll show you how you SHOULD take care of it..-_- And every time they come in the fucking thing is matted up again..and i always say, "if you brush them for 5 minutes daily, then you won't have to pay for it so much".. i always write down, or show them the products and tools to use at home.. yet they still don't use it.

Rediculous.
