Wow.  I'd forgotten how much texture you could get out of black and white like that.  Pretty impressive!  Smile

That pixel pantone stuff is hawt. It reminds me of working on the black and white monitors on my old Atari comps.

I really like it a lot!  The over all style is really my cup of tea ( love drawings of punky, gothy, alternative style type girls) and what you did with the textures and patterns looks really, really good.

Might as well use this post for all or at least most of my pixelations.

Started a new piece.

About two hours ago.

Currently.

Trying to keep the colour count down pretty low as apparently that makes it 'true' pixel art

Edit: It's based of a myspace pic I found ages ago so I don't think I should post the persons picture without there consent and I don't have the link to there myspace to show it so uh yeah just imagine the photo looks a fair bit like what I've got so far except realistic and photo-like

In that case, did you ask her permission before using her photo as a base for your pixel art?

Hang loose, hang ten, howzit, shake a shaka
No worry, no fear, ain't no biggie braddah
Cuttin' in, cuttin' up, cuttin' back, cuttin' out
Frontside, backside, goofy footed, wipe out
Let's get jumpin', surf's up and pumpin'
Coastin' with the motion of the ocean
Whirlpools swirling, cascading, twirling
Hawaiian roller coaster ride

Well last time I spoke to them on msn it was fine but I've since lost contact with them so yeah, either way it's mostly just a personal learning piece.

I've been suggested to use volumes to bring out the face and stuff a bit more so i just quickly attempted to define some, not all too used to doing this so it's a bit of a first.

Edit: Taking a slight break from that piece while I work on a request for some one wanted on the GMC boards.

That's what i've got so far after about 2 hours solid work.
