Oh I don't think they're gonna give up. Zuko has SOME second thoughts about it, which totally means him and Katara are gonna shack up sometime in the next 6 months.  I think it's called Zutara, btw. |

I have all of book 1 on DVD and I will soon collect book 2... but I haven't been keeping up with the show on a new to date episode basis.... so I am glad there haven't been any real spoilers in this thread... at least not ones I could discern. But I fell in love with this show the first time I saw one of the episodes... bending is really neat. And the basis of actual martial arts makes it even more intriguing.  |

Eh... much of the main characters are 14-17, the youngest being Aang, who is 12. He doesn't really fit into the "small children" category so comfortably anymore.

But with such a low extreme on the target audience, it's doubtful we'll see that much of a plot twist.

Think about Zim. It got cancelled because it was attracting teens instead of a younger audience. And I finally got around to seeing it. Blah. I like it. Almost done with book one. |
